The Drupal Diversity and Inclusion Camp that was earlier scheduled to be held virtually for two days, will now be held only on one day i.e. 16th September 2022. According to the message by Alison who held the Drupal Diversity and Inclusion meeting via the slack channel this week it was because the community members have been feeling a bit of burnt out and over stretched, and in order to match the volunteer commitments that they have.
Call for Speakers for the second DDI Camp will be open till 17th August 2022. The aim of the camp is to bring new voices and important topics together into a relaxed and fun virtual conference. The sessions would be a 30 minute talk, delivered on Zoom. That time will include any Q&A, should you choose to include it but it’s not required.
The registration for the virtual session is open and they are also open for volunteers to help out with the camp. If you are interested in being a volunteer you can visit the #ddi-camp slack channel for more information.
